POESIA DIECISAIS
ThE LIFE OF SISA
By: Ella Mae Godoy
A whole life full of suffering
Amidst a thousand pain
Children living away—
The only treasure possessed

Tears and blood flowing
Stunned with the sight, horror filled the inside
"What happened to you my son"
Cried a loving mother

Striding back and forth
Pleading with mercy, wailing for help—
So loud, no one noticed
People will not hear nor even shed a tear
Mindlessly wandering
Wavered by thoughts
"Where"s my son? Where"s my son?"
"They're innocent, what did you do?"
