a conspicuous spill stained the narrow streets of the busy suburb of tondo, manila. it stained
many hands, faces, and clothings too—a disturbing metaphorical sight it indeed is. the idleness
of the streets is one thing, a deceitful cover to conceal the ramifications of greed. and so, they say
the wolfish smears of the stain is wine, but only fools will believe that. perhaps, it could be sweet
and intoxicating wine, for it is as red as blood.
