Someone who stood for he thinks what is right, he thought of as ideal sense of justice; someone who has the courage to sacrifice his self for his country, Jose Protacio Rizal, is our national hero. He never loses his will to fight for the country even until his death, confidently wearing his favorite suit and hat contented and dignified of his actions and principles.
A hero who used his pen, passion and talent to create reform during Spanish time. He wanted reform in peaceful way instead of revolution. He wrote books enlightening the Filipinos, while having a whole nation against his ideals. He has shown strong resistance to the colonizers, that is our hero.
The life that Jose Rizal lived, may have been tragic, but he did not have any regrets as he wholeheartedly did everything with his goals set already on a stone. His will lives on among us, the next generation whom he entrusted the hope of the Philippines, to battle courageously using our pen, never losing focus on attempting to reach it.
