Is our destiny already realized the moment we are born? Maybe. But the real question is what is our purpose in life. And in what I believe, it is ourselves who needs to realize our purpose.
The biggest factor that I think will help us find our purpose is the early moments when we are born.
Jose Rizal’s family is rich even before he was born. But money is not the determinant of his purpose. He was nurtured well. His parents' love for him makes him the person he is that we know.
He clearly believes too that the training he received from his early infancy formed his habits. His father is a model parent. He expresses that his father provided education suitable in a family neither rich nor poor. His mother also taught him to pray together with his family.
He was surrounded by people who love him. He has grown into a man who is deeply in love with his people.
I think we should allow ourselves with good people. Even though we are not young anymore, we can change for better by the people around us and affect them with goodness as well.
So, we, as good people, should surround the infant and young to support them. We affect them with good deeds. Small kindness counts greatly. The young will grow with our love as Jose Rizal once said, the youth is the hope of our future "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan."
